HUM features a simple, beautiful design that makes conversations as readable and organized as possible. Getting a new chat started is simple. Just add who you want to send it to and add a topic.

After you hit Start, your chat is seen as a topic in a list of other chats, and it's updated immediately across all of your devices. Unlike email, when you're in a chat, you can easily see who is there, and who is about to say something. Everything in HUM functions in real time.

No more waiting and wondering if your message will receive a response. With HUM, you'll know when someone is typing - and an average of how much - by the blue ring around their avatar.

Since HUM was created to help you work in a steady rhythm and keep conversations short and to the point, it's designed with a +1 feature. This allows you to get quick feedback about ideas or questions from those in your chat. +1 eliminates a series of one-word, reply-all emails and gives you an easier way to keep track of who's on board.

Searching on HUM will let you quickly find anything you're looking for. Each section of HUM has its very own search.What about those chats you're not ready to read yet? HUM is designed for those, too. Simply use the clock icon to move chats over to the Read Later column. Chats are saved there until you're ready to respond.

Throughout any given day, there are all kinds of different chats happening. Some are quick and others last much longer. To help support multi-tasking and ease of jumping between conversations, HUM uses a pin feature. When you use the pin feature, you can keep an eye on important conversations. These chats won't get lost by falling below new messages like they would in an inbox or a room.
