Trolltunga:挪威巨魔的舌头自然风景,在挪威的群山里面有一个地方非常特殊,当地人称它为巨魔的舌头,因为这是一个从高山里探出的一个平台,站在那里观望群山蔚为壮观。
From mid-June to mid-September, take a trip to Norway to visit Trolltunga, a giant piece of rock that hangs horizontally out of a mountain over half a mile off the ground. The roundtrip hike will take you between 8 to 10 hours but it's well worth the trip because the view is nothing short of spectacular. One of the most stunning scenic cliffs in Norway, Trolltunga translates to "The Troll's Tongue" because of its bizarre, jutting shape.
The cliff was formed during the ice age, approximately 10,000 years ago, when glacial water froze huge chunks of the mountain and then broke off. This left an incredibly strange-looking rock outcropping. Thousands of visitors come each year to sit "on top of the world," and with no safety rails to block their view, or their fall, Trolltunga is one of those "bucket list" experiences that's not for the faint of heart.
